Jaenna Cali is a Filipina-Canadian actress and singer-songwriter born in the Philippines. At age 3, she had her very first musical theatre role as "Gretel" in "The Sound of Music Musical." She is trained in musical theatre at Trumpets & Repertory Philippines, trained in New York and Vancouver, BC for Acting in TV, Film, and Voice Over Acting. This triple threat has also performed in shows all over Canada, Philippines, and in Dubai as a singer-songwriter. She has released 3 singles titled: "Simply You," "Standing By," and "i'm so done" - available on all music streaming platforms.
After starring in various projects and shorts, Jaenna Cali went on to co-direct & co-produce a web series about the life of a black woman following her struggles and triumphs growing up in America, a very timely and relevant story today. She continues creating and producing new content everyday.
Cali won Best Actress 2022 and Best Film 2022 at the 48 Hour Film Festival in Manitoba for her film, "Miss Fortune." She co-directed and co-wrote alongside her sister, Jayzee Cali. The film continued to garner success at the premiere of the Gimli Film Festival and TIFF Bell Lightbox. It won People's Choice Award. It also premiered in various theatres in Vancouver and LA.
Besides acting, singing, and dancing, she is an entrepreneur & visionary starting her very own business, Cali Creative Media Studios where she strategizes digital media for entrepreneurs, visionaries, and artists. Cali is also a brand & digital influencer forming various brand partnerships in lifestyle, health, and personal development proving herself to be a great role model for young girls all over the world.
