It was in 2009 that Nicolas Dubut composed his first soundtrack for the film "Anrtefacts" by director Patrick O'blin. Shortly after, he began a long collaboration with director Rémi Hoffmann with the composition of the soundtrack for his film "Les Seigneurs d'Outre Monde" (official selection in several Festivals in 2017), followed by several advertising projects, theater, video games....
Nicolas has composed the soundtrack for several feature films, short films, documentaries and shows. The highlights of his career include several films with director Sophie Attelann: "Hikikomori" (2021) with Karine Vantalon and Colette Roche (Official selection at the Menton International Fantastic Film Festival 2023); "La robe noire" with Isabelle Menal (2021); "20 ans" (2021) with Julie Toupet; "Juste une femme" (2021) with Sylvia Fasolo. "From the Time of the Giants to the Time of the Dolls" (2017) by Benoît Lelièvre for the artist Fan Yaping; "D.S.I" by Thomas Khawam and Sébastien Baccala (2022) with Thomas Khawam, Aurore Planas, Pierre André, Laurent Leca, Garance Teillet and Frederic Souterelle (Cannes Festival Film Market 2023 and Best Realist Award at the London Dirctor Awards in 2024 ) ; "Kieli Bi" (2019) (Official selection at the 2020 Cannes Short Film Corner Festival) and "Baqsy" (2023) by Dana Mussa (Official selection at MOV'IN Cannes 2023); "LiFe" (2024) by Dragan Nikolic with Natacha Régnier, Marie-Christine Barrault and Mogamed Bechiev.
