Kush Gupta(I)

Kush Gupta recently wrote & directed a 7 episode international series of 45 min each for an International OTT platform called "The Abandoned" (An adventure thriller survival show which carries an international ensemble cast) shot in Australia. Kush has been working in the Australian - India Film industry for the past 16 years. He started his career as a international choreographer for Shiamak Davar Company. After successfully, writing and directing two sold out musicals in Australia, Kush went on to move to India where he worked as an Associate Director on Feature Films such as Sarbjit, Bhoomi and Prasthanam. He went onto to independently write, direct, edit and shoot several TVC's , Music Videos, Promos and Short films - Out of which he has won several awards in international film festivals and been key to the success of other short features such as Wonderland, Ave Maria and Spiral. Notably with over 14 nomination and wins in international film festivals; including "Best Short Film" directed by Kush Gupta. Being a storyteller from the beginning, Kush went on to creating and writing several screenplays for both web platforms and international feature films. He further worked as a script doctor for several writers and directors. With over 200 projects, Kush strives on raising the bar and thinking out of the box. Understanding the international market, Kush's key strengths are in conceptualizing, gripping drama stories and visualizing them with the end treatment and objective in mind. He takes any project and makes it his own giving it an international treatment from the characters, plot lines to the world of the stories.
