Marius Dahl is a multilingual Paris-based Director of Photography and lighting camera operator. He speaks fluently French, English, German and Norwegian. He has spent over a decade studying and working within Commercials, Fictions, Documentaries, Music videos and Fashion, developing his visual style and sensibility.
Skillset
Marius has a background from both fiction and documentary. Through his film school in Norway, he learned the techniques of fiction and commercial production. Later, he complemented these techniques through shooting documentaries, learning to trust his instincts for lighting, shooting and working with natural and available light. Focusing on commercials, music videos and fiction the last 11 years, he has developed a complete toolbox, enabling him to achieve the look and aesthetic best suited for the project.

Marius has been the cinematographer on several features, a series for Netflix, as well as commercials for world renown brands such as Nike, Gatorade, Evian, Audi, Hyundai, Carven, Lecoq sportif, and many more. He is a member of UCO, the United Cinematographers Organisation
