Kayli Tran is an American actress originally from Nashville, TN. Since the successful release of Snapchat TV's Dead of Night (2019) (executive produced by Timur Bekmambetov of Bazelevs Entertainment), Kayli was listed on the 2020 Emmy Primetime Nominations ballot for "Outstanding Actress In A Short Form Comedy Or Drama Series," competing against major actresses such as Sophie Turner and Anna Kendrick. Now, Kayli is back for season 2 starring as Ada Saito in the platform's top performing show with over 15 million views. With this action packed season, Kayli performed all her own fight scenes and stunts work proving not only she's an acting juggernaut but her athleticism and tenacity no doubt primes her to be the next asian Lara Croft.
As one of Hollywood's fast rising star, Kayli can be seen onscreen working alongside industry heavy hitters including Oscar nominated Robert Downey Jr. in HBO's highly anticipated new show The Sympathizer, Jake Gyllenhaal in Michael Bay's major blockbuster Ambulance (2022), Neal McDonough in the sci-fi thriller Monsters of Man (2020), Issa Rae in the comedy series BSU: Black Student Union (2017), and Ryan Phillippe in USA Network's hit show Shooter (2016). Kayli has even expanded into voiceover for commercial and animation as well as motion capture in the video gaming world including Activision's "Call of Duty: Black Ops 4" and Sony's "The Last of Us Part II".
Kayli's passion for music and theater started at a young age when her mother enrolled her in music school. Following her older sister's footsteps, she began performing at local community showcases and events by singing, dancing or playing the piano. She even made several TV appearances on NECAT Network, a local arts and education programming in Nashville. Since her move to Los Angeles, Kayli has appeared in countless feature films, network and cable television shows as well as multiple stage work. When she's not booked and busy, Kayli can be found at the beach playing volleyball or practicing photography and painting.
