Tiffany Rhynard films that illuminate the lived experience and the human cost of injustice. Her directorial debut, Little House in the Big House, chronicled the lives of women incarcerated in a Vermont state prison constructing a single family home from the ground up. Her second feature documentary, Forbidden: Undocumented and Queer in Rural America, received a 2018 Television Academy® Honor for its airing on LogoTV in partnership with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and received the first ever Social Justice Film Award from the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). Rhynard's dance films have screened at festivals nationwide and internationally including ScreenDance Miami where her films were awarded the Jury Prize for Invisible Queens (2015) and Black Stains (2018).
