Momo Daud is a Canadian film producer and director known for his keen technical expertise and dynamic storytelling. With a background in both the camera and production departments, he has developed a versatile skill set and an extensive network within the Canadian film industry.
In 2024, he produced His Father's Son, the feature debut of director Meelad Moaphi, funded through Telefilm Canada's Talent to Watch program. The film won the Audience Choice Award and Best Director at the Toronto Reel Asian Film Festival and has been acquired by Mongrel Media for Canadian distribution.
Momo's second feature, EXP, has also received the highly competitive Talent to Watch grant, and is set to shoot in 2026. He is additionally collaborating with Lisa Benedetto and Trevor Christie on the upcoming series Half Fishing and is involved in various short film projects.
Alongside his own productions, Momo actively works as a Line Producer and Production Manager, bringing his expertise to a wide range of independent and commercial projects.
