Trina's main skill set in film is Art Production. She is also interested in Screen Writing.
Trina's first camera was a 110 that she received for her 10th birthday, and she has been addicted to photography ever since. Her Grandparents traveled the world, and she was inspired by watching slide shows that her Grandfather would share with her of his worldly adventures. In high school, her dream was to be "A National Geographic Photographer" or "Julie on the Love Boat." Having had a handicapped son early and not completing college after high school, the pro-photographer dream was shelved. Since then, Trina has become "Julie on the Love Boat" when she entertained guests and event managed at Casino Parties throughout the Northwest. When her daughter was younger, she gained professional photographic experience by taking sports action shots and creating slide show productions for her daughter's sports league. She also has experience with creating memorial slide shows, training videos and promo videos. Now that her children are grown, she lives a retired lifestyle while focusing on her art.
Creative interests include: Photography - focusing on the small details, on line, shape, light and form Clothing Design (Collection available at ShopVida) Writing poetry and lyrics (has over 250) Graphic Design - Abstract Art Game Design (has invented 5 games) Music and Film
Being interested in supporting the arts and volunteering, Trina also executive produces music (finances other artists in the music industry) and she is a member of the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the Recording Academy. Volunteering has included Seafair, the Seafair Boat Club, Seahawks, Iron Man, Vancouver Olympics, Rock and Roll Marathons, Landmark Education and phone service for her local PBS station. She has also worked on a few film sets. In 1996 she was featured in a video fund-raiser that raised 9 million in charity funds for the United Way.
Interesting facts: Trina was born to missionaries in Papua New Guinea and almost died of meningitis at 6 months. She went to private elementary school, at Kings Garden in Seattle. At Lynnwood High school, she was involved in music and sports. At age 19, her youngest of 3 brothers was born. He is a Lyric Tenor who sang with the Seattle Opera before switching careers to work for SpaceX and Firefly. Trina built her first house at age 23 through Housing Hope, has an interest in Native American culture (second to her daughter's ancestry), is an avid genealogy researcher, loves astronomy and physics, owned a large daycare center from 1998-2001, and almost lost everything twice in life. A favorite pastime is taking off on spur of the moment trips and exploring with her camera.
