Lía is an independent producer whose credits include several acclaimed films, such as "The Companion", by Pavel Giroud and, "Four seasons in Havana" (Spain-Cuba-Germany) playing on Movistar and Netflix. Her work also includes the Olivier Assayas' film "Wasp Network" (starring Penélope Cruz, Edgard Ramirez, Gael García Bernal, Wagner Moura, and Leonardo Sbaraglia), which premiered at the Venice Film Festival, and "Panama in a Day", by Ricardo Aguilar and Manuel Rodríguez, based on Scott Ridley's 'in a Day' format, both in 2019. Recently she has launched "The Padilla Affair", a documentary feature film by Pavel Giroud which opened in 2022 in Telluride and has its European premiere in San Sebastian's Horizontes Latinos. Also released the film "Bajo un sol poderoso" ("Under a blazed sun"), her second collaboration with Kiki Alvarez, in Havana Film Festival 2022 and Toulouse 2023.
Lía has extensive experience managing international co-productions between various countries, including Spain, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom, as well as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Panama, Peru, among others.
Lía is a member of the European and the Spanish Academy of Cinema and has been invited to participate in the Produced by Conference in Los Angeles as part of the PGA panel: The Whole World is Watching: Producing for a Global Market, along with several of the most prominent members of the entertainment industry globally.
