Mini Bio (1)
Dave Ondusko has always been fascinated with audio recording since he was 15 years old. Starting with rudimentary tape machines through all the innovations leading to the current digital recording revolution, he has always strived for high quality recordings. His love of recorded music also led him to play a variety of instruments, including guitar, bass, mandolin and keyboards, and compose songs of his own, which he would record using the technology of the period. He also recorded demos for his friends throughout this time, who were impressed with the results. Recording other artist's music also demonstrated that he also had the ability to arrange and produce, as well as record and mix.
As a result of an inquiry by the now defunct Allentown Film Crew, Dave begun to work on short films, which included producing music and recording dialog on set.
This led to more work for longer form film performing a variety of audio tasks, including foley artist, sound designer (for effects), music producer/composer/artist, audio editor and post-production mixer and mastering engineer as well as dialog recordist. Dave is continually honing his craft and upgrading his gear to make high quality dialog recordings, while making it easier for the editor and, ultimately, shorten the time to complete a film.
Being associated with the FIFO film consortium based in Easton, PA the last few years has afforded Dave with the opportunity to work with many talented directors, producers, lighting crew, set designers, makeup artists and actors, which provides the "drive" for him to always improve his craft.
