Monique Mosher is a native of New Mexico with a master's degree in Reproductive Endocrinology from The Ohio State University (1989). Using her research and organizing skills, she has helped run a lab at UNM studying preeclampsia in women (1990-1994), was the office manager and owner of a structural steel detailing firm (1994-2011), obtained her esthetician license to perform skincare (2012), has practiced as a medical paralegal (2016-2017) and has worked part time as an assistant to the office manager at an international environmental consulting firm (2015, 2019-2020).
An ankle injury in PE landed her in drama during Middle School where she obtained the lead of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. This experience brought back the desire to act and Monique has been working on her craft since. She has several local commercials under her belt, four 48 hr film festival roles, the lead in The News Reporter Episode of Offset Webseries and plays MoMo in the web series, Diva's Perfect Posse on YouTube. She is looking forward to her first feature film debut in Sierra Sisters, The Hunt for Blackbeard's Treasure.
Monique's passion with acting flows into her passion for horses. Living in beautiful, Corrales, NM, she has established a small side business teaching fellow actors basic horseback riding skills with her Riding for Actors class. This location has been the site for several local productions as well, including an Albuquerque Bio Park commercial, an Osuna Nursery commercial and a 48h Horror film.
Her latest includes adding Voice Over to her toolbox and is casting off in this endeavor. She has been told she has an audible hug!
