Zirnoise aka Matei Vasilache is a film music composer based in Bucharest, Romania. He has started studying music since childhood, his main instrument being violin. Later on he studied piano and lastly, guitar, which finally became his main instrument.
Afterwards, he started experimenting with another side of music, recording and producing the music of the bands he played with along the years.
A while later, Matei studied Sound and Editing in Film School. The years spent there have combined his love for music with the newly discovered world of film, and graduating from a Master program in the art of film sound helped a lot in consolidating this link in his work.
