Rémy Barbe was born on December 25, 1993 in North of France. He is a director, writer and editor.
He created the collective "Les Films de la Mouche" in 2012, known for their proposals of a different kind of cinema, deeply influenced by horror, fantastic, thriller, experimental or surrealistic movies, from the 60's to nowadays.
Since 2014, the collective has 3 members ; Joseph Bouquin, Joséphine Hopkins and himself.
Their ambition as an independent collective is to bring a new artistic vision within the french cinema industry and prove that "Genre" and "Arthouse" films can be compatible, by proposing a right balance between visceral emotions and intellectual vision.
