As a multidisciplinary Composer and Sound Designer, Greg Birkumshaw has composed award nominated and award winning pieces for short films, features as well as television and gallery installations.
Amphibiously based between the coast and the fields of Southern England, his writing and ethos are a reflection of these dualities; pulling from those dark depths within and pushing to the boundless everything beyond. Trained and experienced as a multi-instrumentalist with a love of contrast, Greg received his MA in Scoring to Moving Image from London City University with praise from his lecturers and his peers.
