Kieran Bourne

Writer and Director Kieran Bourne is best known for the BAFTA and BIFA qualifying short films 'Poles' and 'I Am Pilate'. His debut feature film will be 'Arthur & Clara'. It was after writing the Film London Microwave shortlisted screenplay 'Beneath the Mind' that Kieran first captured the industry's attention and since then he has established himself as both a Writer and Director of incisive and compelling narratives. His passion for the craft lead him to continuing drama, shadowing on shows such as 'Casualty', 'Hollyoaks', 'Eastenders' and 'Doctors'. Kieran recently expanded his work on to the stage starting with the well-received reinterpretation of 'Uncle Vanya' that ran at the Old Red Lion Theatre. This was followed up by the original psychological drama 'Savannah' written by Sarah Naudi and starring Olivier Award nominee Jamael Westman and 'Silent Witness' star Genesis Lynea. The play received glowing reactions and is in discussion to receive a longer run after its limited showing at the Union Theatre. Along with 'Arthur & Clara', Kieran is also in development on the drama satire 'BLIGHTYWOOD', a TV series dealing with creativity and the foibles of the British Film industry; and 'The Liaison', a feature length thriller exploring the clandestine world of gangland mediation.
