Omegia Keeys is an American filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer whose film projects explore the African American experience. She is the owner of AboutFace Media, LLC and Like a Boss Studios. Among her best-known projects are the documentary, Surviving America (2021) and thriller, Keeping Secrets (2023) along with her newest psychological thriller, Fractured (2024) and vampire series Donors (2025).
Born in Michigan City, Indiana Keeys had dreams of being a creative from a young age. She just didn't know she could. Keeys ran track which earned her an athletic scholarship and after college she joined the Air Force followed by the Army. Keeys always knew there was something more and started writing books while on active service.
The summer of 2006 Keeys published her first novella and then went on to publish over 40 more titles and owning her publishing company with 50 others under her brand. In 2013 Keeys moved to Atlanta and found her creative side again by working on a known television series. This was the spark she needed.
In 2015 Keeys started her own independent filmmaking journey by transitioning her books to film. She currently has 8 completed projects and is currently in production for multiple projects including a thriller, horror, and fantasy series.
Her newest project Donors slated to release 2025.
