Josie Axelson

Josie Axelson is a multi-hyphenate actress, dancer, singer, and writer based in New York City. Her love for performing sparked in equity theaters across the Twin Cities of Minnesota at age 9 & continued to grow upon entering the film industry at age 11. She has over a decade of professional film and theatre experience, and she recently made her network television debut on the CW's newest true-crime anthology "Hostage Rescue." She graduated Summa Cum Laude from NYU Tisch School of Drama in May 2024 and is thrilled to utilize her training in New York, LA, and beyond. Josie believes that the arts have the ability to change minds and share the untold stories of our world. She is ready for a life of performing and creating art that transforms people, the same way film and theatre continue to transform her.
