Daphna E. Ziman is the President of Cinémoi, North America; a television network on Verizon FiOS and Frontier (Channel 236) devoted to film, fashion, and lifestyle, as well as a New York Times Best Selling author, director and philanthropist.
As the founder and chairperson of Children Uniting Nations, a 501(c)3 charity which provides foster children with devoted, non-paid mentors, Daphna successfully lobbied to amend the Family Preservation Act, ensuring safety of children returning home after foster care; and is known internationally and in Washington, D.C.'s Halls of Power for her work on behalf of at-risk and foster children.
Her latest film, Footsteps (2003), debuted on Showtime.
