Francisco Cabrera-Feo is a bisexual, bilingual, and bittersweet writer. He was raised by an activist mother in war-torn Venezuela and emigrated to the US at age 11 --- giving him a passion for challenging the status quo. He's drawn to stories about laughing in times of crying and young adults forced to grow up. His previous writing credits include: Season 2 of Netflix's Gentefied, HBOmax's Gordita Chronicles, and the upcoming Netflix workplace-comedy about the last Blockbuster Video in the world. He has premiered films at Outfest and HBO'S NYLFF, yet despite People Magazine calling him "The New Promise of Latino Cinema," his mother still thinks he's a gringo.
