Theron Kay is a Japanese-American composer based in Los Angeles, CA. Originally from San Jose, CA, Theron began his scoring career in television, composing for shows on ESPN (Snoop & Son: A Dad's Dream), and Fox Sports (The Evolution of Punk). Following his move to Los Angeles, Theron graduated from Cal State University Northridge, where he pitched for the CSUN division I collegiate baseball team and obtained his Bachelor's degree in Music Composition for film & media. He then went on to attend the prestigious Screen Scoring program at USC and graduated with his Masters of Music in the spring of 2020. Most recently. Theron was selected into the 2021 SCL mentorship program, and works as an in-house composer at Eternal Music Group.
