Fernando Furones is a composer and conductor from Madrid, Spain. He holds a Masters Degree in Scoring for Film, TV and Video Games from Berklee College of Music. He has written soundtracks for many feature films, including Isla Bonita, directed by Fernando Colomo, which won the RNE Award for Best Spanish Film of the Year 2016. He has also written the score for many short films, including El Gran Corelli by Abel Carbajal, for which he won best score in the Fugaz Awards in 2020.
He has worked for renowned composers such as Roque Baños, Federico Jusid or Zacarías M. de la Riva. As a conductor he tours frequently and has performed with orchestras in the main venues of Spain: Teatro Real de Madrid, Auditorio Nacional, Palau de la Música Catalana, Palau de les Arts and many more.
