- Music Department
Steven Lopez was born in 1995 in Paterson, New Jersey before living the most of his childhood in the town of West New York. Living across the street from a local movie theater, motion pictures were as much of a family to Steven as his own mother and father. His childhood dreams of filmmaking were brought out at the age of 10 when his father gifted him his first camcorder. From there, he would continuously make home movies and animations with friends up to his teenage years in high school.
He went to Montclair State University, earning a B.F.A. degree in Filmmaking. During his college years, he would sound mix and sound design other student films on top of writing and/or directing his own. He gained notoriety for his work in production sound mixing for feature films such as the Kevin Smith biography film, "Shooting Clerks" (2016) and the musical mockumentary "Happy Yummy Chicken" (2016).
Deeply passionate, yet sometimes stubborn, Steven aspires to create original work that differs from the norm and to bring audiences together to explore new scopes of weirdness and creativity. He wishes for audiences to live the adventure as he would try in normal life every day.
