Maia Gusharashvili is a Georgian-American Producer. She was born in Tbilisi, Georgia.
She earned her bachelor's degree in Western European languages and master's degree in Finance from Tbilisi State University.
She studied German language arts at the Freie University Berlin.
In 2009 she continued her education at NYU and obtained her MBA from Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
In 2014 the director Beka Sikharulidze offered her to co-produce his first short film Grandpa's Debtor (2015). The project won 7 international film festival awards and received 8 nominations.
In 2022 Maia produced Beka Sikharulidze debut feature film From Life to Life (2023) which he directed and wrote. Released in September 2023, the film has garnered critical acclaim, winning 12 awards and receiving 8 nominations at international film festivals worldwide. It was also honored with a special invitation for a screening at the Vatican City.
Maia Gusharashvili is married to Beka Sikharulidze. They have two children.
