A second cousin, once removed, of Jake Weber (her great-grandmother Priscilla was also Jake's grandmother. Priscilla was previously married to her great-grandfather Edward Curzon).
She got the scar on her forehead from playing around at the age of 4. She slipped and fell against a metal bed, tore her head open and passed out.
The audition process for playing Lyra in 'His Dark Materials' started in 2016. Dafne sent one video take and didn't get any answer. But in 2017 she was called to make one more take. Dafne was in Puerto Rico at this moment and she decided to swim before making a take. And then she got stung by a jellyfish. She had to do a take with a red swollen face. This situation didn't interfere with her getting the part.
