His film, "The Last Hurrah," received 3 nominations (Best Noir Short, Best Score and Best Actress for Aleksandra Vujcic in the inaugural year (2016) of the Genre Celebration Festival. No other film received more. It later won Best Short at the Hollywood Independent Film Festival in 2017, also that festival's inaugural year.
