James Physick was born in October 1984 in Oxford, United Kingdom and shortly thereafter relocated to South Wales, where he spent most of his adolescence and to this day is the one place he considers to be his naturalised "home." As a keen student of Drama throughout School, James became a member of the National Youth Theatre and performed his first major role with the Old Vic Theatre, London in a site specific production of "On The Middle Day" - Somme Theatre (2006) under the Artistic Direction of Kevin Spacey.
Beginning his professional studies at Central School of Speech & Drama, London, it was in 2011 that James went on to further his studies at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, NYC. During his Graduation, James was awarded the Charles Jehlinger Award and went on to become a Company Member at the Academy for a further year. During this time James had the privilege of performing several new works from Award Winning Playwright, Douglas Carter Beane, as well as attending masterclass workshops hosted by Frank Langella.
In the years that followed James has worked across Film, TV, Theatre & Commercial/VO throughout the USA & UK. Most notably playing the role of a young Dr Carlisle in "Masque" (2015) Dir "Cate Carson," which was included in Stephenie Meyer's selection, "The Storytellers - New Voices of the Twilight Saga." In addition to the role of Lovelorn in the multi-award winning film, "Language is Dead" (2017) Dir "Jermaine Manigault," and the soon to be released role of Kevin in "Barrio Boy" (2019) Dir Dennis Shinners.
