Emily Elisabeth grew up in St. Cloud, Minnesota studying music and
acting. As of 207, recent roles include Renee in
Shooter from BPW Productions, Salyer in Last of the Boys at the Fire
Hall Theatre, Margaret in Much Ado About Nothing and Ann Deever in All
My Sons at the University of North Dakota.
Emily graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Acting and Bachelor's of Music degrees in 2013 from the University of North Dakota, where she studied the techniques of Sanford Meisner under the direction of Gaye Burgess. During her time in school, in addition to acting, Emily worked as a seamstress on over 27 theatrical productions ranging from Moliére to Beckett. While studying, she gained experience in ballet, tap, and musical theatre dance styles.
Emily was also fortunate to receive several accolades including Most Outstanding Achievement in Voice Performance, three Irene Ryan scholarship nominations, and an induction into the Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society. During her time studying music, Emily was able to participate in the production of several choral Master Works, including Carl Orff's Carmina Burana and Rachmaninoff's Vespers (All Night Vigil). She has sung music in German, Italian, French, Spanish, Russian, Estonian and enjoys the challenge that different languages provide her.
Emily is co-owner of Shadow Haus Productions, LLC, a production company based in out of West Michigan. She enjoys playing video games with her family and knitting sweaters for her dogs. Her favorite place to travel is any place she can have a food-venture.
