Lovell Adams-Gray is an award-winning actor, writer and producer born and raised in Toronto, Ontario (CA). The "Power Book II: Ghost" breakout star as earned considerable recognition for his role as Dru Tejada, captivating audiences with his nuanced and vulnerable take on the character.

Lovell worked with acclaimed director, Clement Virgo, on TIFF darling, "Brother" bringing a quiet and multi-layered DJ Jelly to life. The film went on to be one of the most awarded films in the history of the Canadian Screen awards. His performance in the web series "21 Black Futures", won Lovell the Canadian Screen Award for Best Lead Performance in a Web Program or Series in 2022.

Originally from the Etobicoke district of Toronto, Lovell attended Humber College's Acting for Film and Television program and is now a lifetime member of the prestigious Actor's Studio. His passion for theater earned Lovell an award for his turn as Levee Green in August Wilson's "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom" in 2018.
