Iris Svis is a Russian-born actress who found her new homeland in Los Angeles, CA. Her parents introduced her to the world of art through dance and music education. At age of fourteen, Iris began her successful modeling career that took her around the world and allowed her to witness the diversity and richness of many beautiful cultures. While traveling, she fell in love with the diverse cultures and realized that developing an acting craft would allow her to share her passion for human nature in all its unique colors and shapes. She is a member of Jocelyn Jones Acting Studio where she found a healthy environment to develop her voice as an actress. Iris has been working with such talented people as Phedon Papamichael, an award-winning Cinematographer, James Brolin and Frances Fisher on a film "A Beautiful Day" with impressive cast and crew. She recently co-produced and starred in a short romantic comedy No Fancy Ride directed by Gregory R.R. Crosby that has been accepted and screened at some major film festivals. Iris is constantly looking for opportunities to challenge her personal and professional qualities by collaborating on and creating projects that she believes can make a difference in the world where culture and film have been intimately intertwined.
