Dale is an American film Director and Editor based in Atlanta, Ga. He developed an interest in storytelling at young age and showed potential for work as a Writer and Director at an early age. After spending time acting in the theater, he found a passion for telling stories through video. He built a small side business making videos for businesses in his community and eventually went on to work for Apple teaching other filmmakers how to use tools like Final Cut Pro to make movies and documentaries.
After spending seven years at Apple, he decided to pursue his career in filmmaking professionally. He interned with Crazy Legs Productions in Atlanta while completing graduate studies in Screenwriting at UCLA. He then worked under Director Matt Pope as his Editor and was mentored as a Director.
He went on to direct commercials and short films following that experience and directed a documentary-series about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict between 2018 - 2020. That project was delayed due to Covid-19 but, is as of April 2022, is in post-production. In 2021, he began directing a documentary about a woman who woke up one morning in September 2020 to discover her husband had been running a Ponzi scheme and was on the run from the SEC and FBI leaving her to raise three children and face the punishment for his crimes. As of April, 2022 it is in production.
Dale currently resides in the Atlanta area with his wife and two children.
