Andrey was born and raised in Moscow, studied at The Russian State University of Cinematography (VGIK), after which he made several radical music videos, among which 'Pussy Riot: Chaika' (2016) and one of the first in Russia he began to shoot independent web series about youth, challenges of early adulthood and love.
His movies have bold and precise camera work. The ability to quickly and inexpensively create a spectacular cinematic image and more than five years of documentary filmmaking experience allowed Andrey to work with non-professional people on the same level as actors.
