- Wrote his first short story in fourth grade. The story which was titled: The Time Travel Journey impressed his fourth grade teacher so much that she encouraged him to pursue a future career in writing.

- His name and the spelling of it is due to the fact that it is a unique combination of his mother and his father's first name.

Polar has also admitted to having a strong dislike for pop and modern day music and rather enjoys listening to underground and indie artists such as Fat Freddy's Drop, Fink, Raashan Ahmad, Jamiroquai, Zero 7, Corrine Bailey Rae, and The Foreign Exchange.
- Trains at the Art of Jiu Jitsu Academy, which was founded by the legendary four time Brazilian Jiu Jitsu world champions: The Mendes brothers.
- Besides film making, BrenDen has also adopted many other hobbies in his life such as mastering the art of Jujutsu, and creating programs, websites, and online video games as a coder.
- Polar has claimed he owes a lot more to the song "You Gotta Be" by Des'ree than just being one of his favorite childhood songs. Polar has said it was this very song that gave him his first idea for a story in dream. During the dream Polar had as a kid, the song played in his head as the dream was going on.
- Both of his parents have a brief background in the film industry. His father for example, had creative experience in the area of marketing (such as product placement) in the early to mid 2000s.
- Started shaving his head in February of 2015. Before then he had often outgrown his hair. But due to the dry climate of California and also due to a personal decision of not wanting to style his hair anymore, Polar decided to shave his head.
- Has a lot of movies he considers favorites. But if he had to choice, his top two are Citizen Kane and Pulp Fiction.
