Craig Dodge(II)
- Music Department
- Composer
- Sound Department
A classically trained film and television composer and
multi-instrumentalist, Craig feels equally at home composing for
orchestra as he does with synthesizers, world music instruments, and
computers.
Craig has a Bachelor's Degree in Music from the University of Prince Edward Island, and a Specialist Certificate in Orchestrating and Producing Music for Film and Video Games from the Berklee School of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.
Throughout his studies, he placed special emphasis on the symphonic styles of the Romantic era composers, including the programmatic music of Franz Liszt and Hector Berlioz and a focus on the music of 20th century Russian composers including Dmitri Shostakovich and Igor Stravinsky. In 1996 he was awarded the Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings (FACTOR) New Talent Demo Award for a collection of original Latin-inspired compositions.
He has also completed work on 33 video game scores acting as composer, sound designer and music supervisor for the projects.
