Amber Rainey was born on May 17 in Long Beach, California. After living a few years in Hawaii, her family returned to East Texas where she spent the rest of her youth. Amber's love of acting began in high school whilst performing in one-act plays. Shirley Jackson was a huge inspiration for her and the first play she can remember performing in was "The Lottery". She took a detour in college away from the arts, earning a Master's degree in IT, before returning to her love of film.
In addition to acting, Amber has worked as a writer and a producer. She has written and directed several web series and short films, including Cassandra, Two Chicks and a Frog, and the award-winning Sands of Time. Amber has an interest in both on-camera acting and voiceover work.
