Born and raised in Los Angeles, Sam made her acting debut at the age of 5 as Mary Poppins' umbrella in a local stage production of Mary Poppins. Since then she can be seen playing human beings in films, TV shows, commercials and on stage. She is a trained actor, singer, and improviser, and a member of SAG-AFTRA.
In 2021 Sam became a CEO by starting her own production company SamSkape Productions Inc. Though she vowed she would never add screenwriting to her list of special skills, her commitment to telling stories that matter and playing roles that she feels passionately about led Sam to not only write, but direct, executive produce, and star in SamSkape's debut short film, "Trying". Featuring an all-woman production team and telling the story of a millennial painter with ADHD, "Trying" premiered at AMC in Burbank, CA to a sold out house in December 2021.
From performing on stage in Anchorage, Alaska to being streamed on Amazon Prime, Sam's work as an actor has garnered her recognition across numerous mediums. She is currently in the developmental stages of some exciting new projects, offering her the chance to enhance her range as an actor while bringing to light stories you rarely see on screen.
