Larry Thorton is a self-made entrepreneur who has founded multiple software companies with significant market share in the Check Processing and ATM Deposit Processing market in many large banks in America and Europe, with good penetration in the Community Bank market as well. Larry developed strong Business Relationships with large public companies, like IBM, Unisys, and NCR Corporation to leverage their hardware platforms, software platforms, and customer relationships to open doors to develop a suite of Mission Critical Software Applications, (The Payments Navigator) that are licensed and supported by the staff at SE, Inc. in Memphis, Tennessee. The following is a partial list of customers that have licensed software from SE, Inc: Bank of America, CitiBank, Wells Fargo, Key Bank, JP Morgan Chase, BB&T Bank, Regions Bank, SunTrust Bank, First Tennessee Bank, Citizens Bank, and Barclays Bank, Federal Reserve Bank, and 70 community banks. Larry serves as founder, President, and CEO of SE, Inc. for the past 27 years.
Always looking for new challenges and broadening his horizons, Larry began Executive Producing feature films and commercials. For over 30 years Larry has created unique products from scratch and brought them to the market, partnering with some of the largest companies in the world, and now he is doing it in the film industry. In the summer of 2012 Larry Executive Produced the highly anticipated home workout series "Lochte Hard-Core" for the 2012 summer Olympics, which starred eleven-time Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte and his world-renowned trainer Matt DeLancey. In 2013 he Executive Produced the viral film "Love Worth Finding" for Love Worth Finding Ministries with Dr. Adrian Rogers. Compelling and contagious, this film ad quickly went viral and circled the world in a mere forty-eight hours. Its powerful and timeless message has helped reshape and energize the ongoing efforts of Love Worth Finding Ministries. Larry also Executive Produced the national TV advertisements for companies such as Bellevue Memphis, Brim's Snack Foods, FTPS and more. Larry went on to Executive Produce and co-finance the feature film thriller "Cassidy Way." Larry is quickly gaining momentum with seven new feature films that he is set to Executive Produce.
