David Horace Greer is a Playwright, Actor, and Tony-nominated Broadway producer.

Stage roles include dramatic interpretation of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "Letter from Birmingham Jail," Joshua and Eli in "A Midnight Cry," and an Ethiopian Mossad Agent in "Converted Imperfect."

As a Playwright, wrote "Hour Farther" (Emerson Theater Collaborative-CT) and "Peculiar People" (Hartford Stage-CT).

Member of Broadway Producer teams for "Mountaintop," "Gershwin's Porgy & Bess," and "The Scottsboro Boys," which earned David a Tony nomination. Also produced "Black Stars of the Great White Way Broadway Reunion Concert" at NYC's Carnegie Hall.

David is a Corporate Finance and Strategy professional with an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an Economics degree from Centre College (KY). He was also selected as a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar and studied at the American University in Cairo, Egypt.

Originally from Oakland/ Three Forks, KY, David has visited, worked, and/or studied in 17 countries and mistaken for Cuban, Dominican, Brazilian, Moroccan, Egyptian, Ethiopian, and Indonesian (Kalimatan region).
Cast as U.S. Senator Edward Brooke in Oprah Winfrey/ Brad Pitt MLK project "Selma," but had to decline due to a schedule conflict.
David plays Dee Dee's Apollo Date in the James Brown film "Get On Up." Dee Dee is played by Jill Scott.
Former state-ranked BMX racer.
Once played an English, Hebrew, Yiddish-speaking Ethiopian Mossad Agent in a Jewish farce play.
Salsa dancer, also trained in Swing dance and Brazilian capoeira.
