Tim Jacobs is an American actor/model in the greater Boston and New York City area. Born in Scottsbluff, the largest city in Nebraska (except when the Cornhuskers have a home game), Tim is a good old Mid-western boy, transplanted to Hampton, New Hampshire in 1987. He is of Dutch, Irish, English, and German descent. The oldest boy in a family of seven, Tim was no stranger to cameras, plays and musical theatre. From a young age, Tim showed a passionate interest in acting and singing and his family was even part of a modern-day Von Trapp family singers contest. Recognizing acting was becoming his true passion, Tim began auditioning for projects in high school, landing leading roles in "West Side Story" and "Romeo & Juliet."
Wanting to further study his craft, Tim went back to his roots and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from the University of Wisconsin in 2010. During his time at the university, Tim deepened his understanding and love for Shakespeare and went on to perform in professional renditions of "Romeo & Juliet," "As You Like It" and "Much Ado About Nothing." Furthermore, Tim is part of a Shakespearian acting troupe: Seven Stages Shakespeare.
Along with his profound respect for the craft, Tim has a strong foundation in stage theatre. However, always wanting to improve his skills and accept new challenges, Tim made his film debut in the blockbuster hit R.I.P.D. (2013), with Ryan Reynolds, Jeff Bridges and Kevin Bacon.
Besides his love of acting, Tim's passions include: Ultimate Frisbee, paddle-boarding, photography, meditation, painting, and exploring the great unknown.
