Renata Kalman has been working with Casting in the Brazilian audiovisual industry since 1995.
Between 2022 and 2024 she worked as Director of Talent at Paramount in Brazil, and resulted in two Emmy-nominated series "Spider" and "Escola de Quebrada". In 2016 she helped to create the Elenco Digital system, a pioneer and innovative platform for casting production in Brazil. Nowadays this tech company has a database of thousands of artists, several Casting Directors subscribers and partnership with the best market agents. She started with small advertising films and ended up working as a casting director for the most respected production companies and directors, winning national and international awards. She also coordinated a Casting department between 2004 and 2011, where she worked on some movies, short films and small series. After that, the entertainment industry in Brazil was finally becoming productive enough and she decided to open a freelancer Casting Production Company (RKC) to focus her work on movies and series.
