Connecticut native and Emmy nominatee, Rayshaun Thompson is a film score composer and record producer who makes up one half of film score group, "Controlled Noise" and music production duo Cee N' Ralph. Discovering his love for music at the tender age of 17, Rayshaun devoted 90 percent of his time to writing music. Since then, he has grown to develop a talent for producing various genres like pop, rock, hip hop, and cinematic music. Rayshaun has worked with a variety of professionals and upcoming talents ranging from other film score composers, to renown producers, independent directors, screen writers, and major artists.
Practically raised by melody, he felt it was in his purpose and an ode to his roots to produce sounds capable of stirring up the human emotions on a major and minor scale. Rayshaun excels his way through obstacles in his personal life by showcasing his ability to strike chords and pull on human heart strings, connecting individuals from all parts of the world regardless of language and cultural barriers. He truly knows how to articulate the human emotions into an array of highs and lows and has repeatedly proven just how diverse and talented he is through his approach to sound composition and its rhythmic structure.
Music has become his tool of choice to stimulate the mind, body, and soul taking us on an emotional roller coaster ride and delivering powerful messages with or without words. Along with his drive and perseverance, he has accomplished and scored over 13 feature films, 20 campaign ads, and over 20 short films in a short period of time.
