Jovani's acting roles span a number of genres. She enjoys performing stand-up comedy and writes her own material. Jovani has honed her talent through intensive Meisner training under Robert Mello and Theatre training from The Alliance and Pinch N' Ouch Theatres. She developed her comedic style training at the renowned Upright Citizen's Brigade in NYC and with her stand-up comedy mentor Joel Byars in Atlanta.
Her special skills include martial arts experience in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Born in Trinidad and of Indian descent her accents include British, Indian and Caribbean. Off screen, Jovani's passion is traveling; she's been to more than 40 countries!
