Studied at Goldsmiths University. She worked as an agent for three years before moving into casting and works as a freelance assistant. She is also the Casting Director for the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Forum which is chaired and run by TV and film producer Farah Abushwesha (The ABC Murders, The Singapore Grip).
