Donald A. Grinde Jr.
Donald A. Grinde, Jr. is the Grand Nephew of Academy Award Winning
Director, Nick Grinde. He has been interviewed on Ancient Aliens and
has worked with James Redford on documentary projects. He is a
historical consultant for an upcoming documentary on PBS entitled:
"Kinzua Dam, Lake of Betrayal" which documents the building of the
Kinzua Dam in Northwest Pennsylvania which flooded the Cornplanter
Indian Reservation (Seneca) and forced the removal of over 500 members
of that Native American community. When the documentary comes out in
2016, it will commemorate the 50 anniversary of the completion of the
dam. Donald A. Grinde, Jr. has taught at UCLA, UC, Riverside, the
University of Utah, Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and the University of
Vermont. He is currently, Professor of Transnational/American Studies
at The State University of New York, Buffalo.
