Ilaria was born in Reggio Emilia, Italy. After a background as a contemporary and physical theater dancer, she moved to New York City where she pursued acting. Ilaria graduated from William Esper Studio under the mentorship of Suzanne Esper. Right after graduation she begun to write, produce and distribute her own work. Her genre ranges from Experimental, Drama to Thriller, with the common tread of having controversial and anti-hero women as central characters. Her award winning short films ("Unvoiced" Directed by Jeremiah Kipp - "Open" Directed by DT Sheridan - "Sins" Directed by Jeremiah Kipp) inspired her to venture into the world of feature script and TV. In 2022 Ilaria has different projects in development: the feature erotic thriller "Sins" produced by Marc Johnson, the historical TV pilot "Matilda of Tuscany" based on the book "The Novel of Matilda" by Elisa Guidelli and in collaboration with Dan De Filippo from Pipeline Entertainment, the feature drama based on a true story "A Rose Is a Rose", and the historical TV pilot "Veronica, the Honest Courtesan". Her work continues to fuel her curiosity and fascination for storytelling. Ilaria believes that sharing stories is at the core of the common experience and culture. It has the power to bring people together and affect lives indelibly.
