D'Nette Wood is an American actor, musician and writer. Growing up in New Mexico, she spent winters as an avid downhill skier, and summers riding horses and dirt-bikes. As a young musician D'Nette attended music school in Denton, TX and the University of Colorado in Boulder. She moved to Nashville, Tennessee with aspirations of singing professionally and had the pleasure of meeting great song-writers and a young Faith Hill who sang back-up on her demo project. D'Nette was later appointed by Governors Gary Johnson and Bill Richardson to the New Mexico State Investment Council which created state film incentives and provided the opportunity for her to begin a career as an actor.
