Ramon Stoppelenburg is a Dutch serial entrepreneur, author and producer known for using "cyber-begging" as a means to travel around the world with one of the first social networks ever. He is a writer, translator and producer, now residing in Lisbon, Portugal, after living in Cambodia for over 10 years.

In 2001 he started the website letmestayforaday.com. By using the internet for requesting a place to stay and help with food and drinks, he received 4,577 invitations from 77 countries. In exchange for the given hospitality he wrote an extensive daily report on his website before hitchhiking to his following location.

He wrote the Dutch-language book Letmestayforaday, which was published by Nijgh & Van Ditmar Publishing House in 2004, and sold over 10,000 copies. From 2005 he had a wide array of jobs: radio host on Dutch Radio 1, commercial model for Max Models, editor for HCC, book trailer producer and cinema operator.

He ran three local western-orientated cinemas in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, from April 2011 to August 2021. He produced the travel documentary "One Couch at a Time" in 2012.

In 2017 UNESCO declared his website Letmestayforaday.com "Digital Heritage" as it was one of the first social networks on the internet.
