Stephen R. Swanson II
- Actor
Stephen R. Swanson II shares a birthplace with Lucille Ball and Roger
Tory Peterson. His ethnically ambiguous look comes from a Scandinavian
father and a West Indian mother. Stephen is bilingual. As a child, he
learned his mother's native tongues, Spanish and West Indian Creole (A dialect of the Caribbean.)
His father is a music teacher and provided Stephen with many
instruments as a boy. Stephen's favorite instrument is the acoustic
classical guitar. From age 6 to 19, Stephen played organized ice hockey
and attended the same select youth hockey camp as Patrick Kane, winger
for the Chicago Blackhawks. Less than one month after the death of his
best friend and producer, Nicholas Alexander Parks (age 24), Stephen
left his birthplace of Western New York to fulfill his ambitions and
the ambitions of his late friend.
