Einar Sv. Tryggvason was born in Reykjavík, Iceland in February 1988. He studied the piano at an early age, but soon turned his focus towards composition, primarily for film.
In 2015, he graduated with a Master of Music degree in Composing for film from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam where he studied with Jurre Haanstra. Previously, in 2011, Einar had received his Bachelor's Degree in Film Composition with honors from the Iceland University of the Arts in 2011 where he studied under the guidance of Hróðmar I. Sigurbjörnsson and Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson.
To date, Einar has scored two full feature films, including the critically acclaimed "Rift", several award-winning short films, Prix Europa & Edda Award nominated TV-series and numerous commercials and trailers.
