My fellow Austrian, the spectacularly successful Arnold - likes to declare, "A man can be anything he wants to be." Well, fundamentally that is pure nonsense - in human endeavors there can be an unbridgeable chasm between wants and capability. In reality, it is certainly true that - a man can be anything he is capable of - simple as that.
In 1982, he was commended for his role on reorganizing 60,000 pilots and aircrew and consolidating 8,643 aircraft into the new and powerful Combat Aviation Branch of the Army; at the time it was the 2nd largest air force in the world behind the US Air Force and just ahead of the US Navy.
