Peter Nickalls is a British composer, fast becoming known for his powerful and emotive orchestral work on recent projects like Loki Season 2 (Disney+) and Obi-Wan Kenobi (Disney+). Equally at ease with stirring documentaries and light-hearted reality shows, he has composed music for numerous channels and labels over the last decade including two seasons of Mary Berry's Best Home Cook (BBC One). Peter has also written for indie games and orchestrated high profile ad campaigns including Money SuperMarket with Dame Judi Dench, and he utilises his background as a jazz pianist and oboist to craft unique and inspiring scores for each new project.
Peter regularly collaborates with esteemed films composers such as Natalie Holt and Nainita Desai, helping to bring their visions to life in numerous ways, across many projects. His music has been used worldwide by US presidential campaigns, NASA, Disney and Cambridge University to name but a few.
